US Reportedly Ready to Release Iranian Assets, Allow IAEA Inspections

Sources indicate that the United States may be prepared to unblock a portion of Iran’s frozen assets, potentially beginning with $6 billion held in Qatar, and to permit International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) inspections.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Axios has claimed that the United States is looking to facilitate the release of some of Iran’s blocked assets. This potential move is reportedly linked to expectations that an initial round of negotiations in Switzerland will conclude with Iran inviting IAEA inspectors for site visits.
The American news outlet Axios also reported that Washington appears ready to allow Iran access to a portion of its frozen financial resources. This initiative could commence with funds totaling $6 billion held in Iran’s accounts in Qatar.
