Hezbollah Denounces Israeli Attacks on Civilians as Clear Ceasefire Violation

Hezbollah’s Islamic Resistance has condemned recent Israeli strikes on Lebanese civilians, labeling them a blatant breach of the existing ceasefire agreement. The group emphasized its close monitoring of Israeli violations following drone attacks in southern Lebanon.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon has declared that the Israeli army has targeted Lebanese citizens for the second time in less than 48 hours. The civilians were heading to their homes in the Dūḥa Kafrrumān area when they were attacked. This statement was reported by Al Mayadeen network and published by the Mehr News Agency.

The Islamic Resistance emphasized in its statement, “We reiterate that the action by the Israeli enemy is a clear violation of the ceasefire agreement that we have thus far observed.” The statement further asserted that the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon “closely watches and monitors the violations of the Israeli regime.”

These remarks follow an announcement by the Rescue and Relief Organization in southern Lebanon on Wednesday, stating that two individuals were martyred in an Israeli drone attack on a vehicle near the town of Kafrrumān in southern Lebanon. The National News Agency of Lebanon reported that the two were martyred when the Israeli forces targeted an X5 SUV on the Tappeh al-Dabshah road towards Dūḥa Kafrrumān.

The same news source reported that Israeli soldiers, in what it termed a violation of the ceasefire in southern Lebanon, fired upon a vehicle in the al-Dayr neighborhood of Nabatieh al-Fawqa and another vehicle near the army barracks area. Additionally, a drone dropped two sonic bombs on the town of Bar’shit in the Bint Jbeil region.

Furthermore, an Israeli patrol, accompanied by a D9 bulldozer, entered the town of Aīn al-Arab. The patrol demanded that the town mayor inform residents to evacuate their homes before 5 PM on Wednesday, threatening destruction of their homes if the directive was not followed.
