Hamas Accuses Israel of Continuing Gaza Genocide Through Siege and Killing

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, based on information from the Palestinian Information Center, the Hamas movement issued a statement asserting that the current conditions in Gaza, including widespread hunger and poverty, the collapse of the health system, the destruction of water and sewage networks, severe environmental and living conditions, the halt of education, and increased suffering for children, women, and the elderly, clearly indicate that the occupying forces are continuing their aggression against over two million Palestinians. Hamas claims they are using starvation, deprivation, and targeted destruction as tools for this ongoing campaign.
The statement further noted that despite the efforts of humanitarian and relief organizations, the volume of aid entering the Gaza Strip remains insufficient to meet the actual needs of the population. This is exacerbated by the Israeli regime’s imposition of restrictions on the entry and distribution of aid, and its targeting of all essential components of life.
Hamas stressed that the limited inflow of aid cannot compensate for an end to the aggression and the full removal of the siege. The movement argued that the root cause of the crisis is the occupation and its criminal policies, rather than deficiencies in relief and humanitarian activities.
The movement held the Israeli regime and the United States government fully responsible for the escalation of this humanitarian catastrophe. Hamas condemned any attempts to disrupt relief efforts, destabilize social order, or serve the occupation’s agendas.
Hamas urged Arab and Islamic countries, the United Nations, and international organizations to assume their legal and humanitarian responsibilities. They called for immediate action to halt the genocidal war, completely lift the siege, open all crossings, ensure the free and safe entry of humanitarian aid, and commence the immediate reconstruction of Gaza.
The movement concluded by emphasizing that the salvation of the Gaza Strip cannot be achieved through statements alone but requires practical measures to end the aggression and siege, and to enable the Palestinian people to live freely and with dignity in their homeland.
