Iran Reportedly Considering Joint Control and Revenue Sharing of Strait of Hormuz

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, The American newspaper The Wall Street Journal, citing Iranian officials and mediators, has claimed that Iranian authorities are considering options related to joint control of the Strait of Hormuz with other countries and the division of revenues generated from it.

The report alleged that Tehran has presented its proposals for imposing tolls in the Strait of Hormuz to China and Egypt.

Iranian officials have not yet officially responded to this report or confirmed its contents.
