Yemen’s Hodeidah Tribes Pledge Resistance Against Aggression, Vow to Break Siege

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, tribes and residents of the Al-Qanawis district in Yemen‘s Hodeidah province held a widespread and armed gathering on Friday, announcing their preparedness to confront aggression and break the country’s siege. This event was held in response to a call by Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, leader of the Ansar Allah movement.

Participants in the gathering chanted slogans emphasizing their continued support for the battlefronts and their readiness for financial and human contributions to defend Yemen’s sovereignty and independence. A final statement issued by the attendees affirmed their commitment to the directives of the Ansar Allah leader, reiterating their resolve to pursue “liberation, ending the aggression and siege, expelling the occupiers, and reclaiming national resources.”

The statement accused the US-led coalition, implemented by Saudi Arabia, of orchestrating an economic war, occupying parts of Yemen, and plundering its oil and gas resources. It urged the Yemeni people to stand firm against these actions through unity. The tribes of Hodeidah also stressed the necessity of complete readiness to break the siege and counter any escalation by the United States and the Israeli regime, expressing their support for the axis of resistance and the principle of “unity of the fronts.”

Attendees announced the initiation of general mobilization, the establishment of military training and readiness centers, and the organization of tribal exercises and maneuvers. They fully empowered the Ansar Allah leadership to adopt all necessary options to end the siege and occupation. The statement concluded by calling on all Yemenis, from the north to the south, to strive for the complete liberation of occupied territories, the recovery of national resources, and the termination of foreign forces’ presence, while maintaining national unity.
