Russia Claims Ukraine Launched Over 200 Drones at Moscow Region

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin announced on social media that Ukraine launched more than 200 drones at the Moscow region over the last 24 hours. Sobyanin stated that the majority of these drones were destroyed by air defense systems before reaching the Russian capital, with 62 Ukrainian drones that approached Moscow being shot down.
In parallel, the Russian Ministry of Defense issued a statement asserting that the country’s air defense systems identified and neutralized 389 Ukrainian drones from last night until this morning. These interceptions occurred over various regions, including Moscow, Leningrad, Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk, Rostov, Krasnodar, the Crimean Peninsula, and the waters of the Sea of Azov and the Black Sea.
