Iraqi Holy Shrine Finalizes Preparations for Martyr Leader Khamenei’s Funeral Procession

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the secretariat of the Al-Abbas Shrine has officially declared the finalization of all service and executive preparations for receiving the funeral procession of the martyred leader of Iran, Seyyed Ali Khamenei, within the holy shrine of Imam Hussein (AS). This announcement was made based on data published by the Mehr News Agency, citing the Al-Abbas Shrine’s information base.
These measures have been implemented following the directives of Sheikh Abdul Mahdi Al-Karbalai, the representative of the Supreme Religious Authority and the custodian of the Al-Abbas Shrine, and Hassan Rashid Jawad Al-Abayji, the Secretary-General of the holy shrine. Various departments of the shrine have collaborated to ensure the most orderly possible conduct of the ceremony.
The statement from the Al-Abbas Shrine indicated that its management has prepared the routes for the funeral procession and participants. Service personnel and medical teams have also been deployed to provide necessary support.
Furthermore, the main entry and exit points for the procession have been organized. The interior of the holy shrine has been readied for the funeral prayer, which will be led by Sheikh Abdul Mahdi Al-Karbalai, the representative of the Supreme Religious Authority.
In its media sector, the holy shrine also announced the development and implementation of a comprehensive media plan to cover the funeral procession. All necessary facilities have been provided for local, Arab, and foreign journalists and media outlets to conduct their work.
The Al-Abbas Shrine concluded by stating that all its staff and servants are performing their duties with a full sense of responsibility. Participants have been urged to cooperate with the responsible authorities and organizers to ensure the ceremony proceeds in the most orderly and smooth manner possible.
