Ulyanov: Moscow-IAEA Talks on Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Plant Were Frank

Mikhail Ulyanov, Russia’s Permanent Representative to International Organizations in Vienna, stated that discussions between Russian and International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) delegations regarding the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant were frank, constructive, and pragmatic. The talks resulted in several general agreements on potential practical measures to improve the current situation.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Mikhail Ulyanov, Russia’s Permanent Representative to International Organizations in Vienna, announced that the negotiations between the Russian delegation and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) concerning the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant were characterized by frankness, a focus on work, and pragmatism.
Ulyanov further elaborated that these discussions yielded a series of broad understandings on possible practical steps aimed at enhancing the current status of the facility.
This development comes amid repeated warnings from Russia regarding Ukraine’s alleged incursions into the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant and the associated risks.
