U.S. Central Command Reports End of Attacks Against Iran

U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) announced the completion of another round of attacks targeting Iran, striking dozens of military sites near the Strait of Hormuz and coastal areas on July 14. The operations aimed to degrade Iran’s ability to threaten commercial shipping.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, CENTCOM has reported the conclusion of its latest military actions against Iran. In a statement, CENTCOM claimed it completed a new wave of attacks against Iran at 10 PM Eastern Time on July 14, targeting numerous military objectives in proximity to the Strait of Hormuz and Iran’s coastal regions.

The U.S. military asserted that fighter jets, drones, and naval vessels deployed precise munitions against Iranian missile and drone sites, maritime capabilities, and coastal defense systems during a seven-hour offensive. The stated objective was to further diminish Iran’s capacity to pose a threat to commercial vessels and civilian crews.

The statement further indicated that these strikes coincided with the resumption of a naval blockade by U.S. forces against ships traversing to or from Iranian ports and coastal areas. This blockade reportedly commenced at 4 PM Eastern Time on the same day.

CENTCOM also emphasized its forces’ readiness, stating they are “vigilant, lethal, and ready to execute directed missions of the Commander-in-Chief.”

This announcement comes as the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran have reiterated their strong resolve to respond decisively to any aggressions by U.S. forces.
