Iraq Opposes Regional War Expansion, Cites Significant Economic and Human Costs

Iraq’s Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein has voiced strong opposition to the expansion of the ongoing conflict in the region, highlighting substantial material damages and the tragic loss of approximately 200 Iraqi citizens.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Fuad Hussein, in an interview with Al Arabiya, stated that efforts are underway to draw Iraq into the current conflict. He emphasized that Iraq has already incurred significant material losses and that around 200 Iraqi citizens have been killed to date.
The minister further noted that Iraq has been unable to export oil since the commencement of the war in the region. Hussein also affirmed Iraq’s commitment to maintaining strong relations with the Arab states of the Persian Gulf and expressed Baghdad’s readiness for security cooperation and information exchange with these nations.
