Iran Destroys U.S. Radar and Patriot Systems in Kuwait

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced the destruction of multiple U.S. radar and air defense systems at the Al-Jaber airbase in Kuwait, a move it stated signifies intensified attacks against American assets in the region.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Public Relations of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced in Statement No. 37 that Iranian forces have delivered significant blows to an “exasperated enemy.” The statement detailed the successful targeting and destruction of U.S. radar and air defense systems in the region, continuing what it described as a “black night” for American radar and defense systems.

Specifically, the IRGC reported that one early warning radar, one missile defense radar system, one FPS117 radar, one Patriot air defense system, and a satellite communication system related to air defense, all belonging to the U.S. Army, were struck and destroyed at the Al-Jaber airbase in Kuwait. This action is characterized as a “radar sweep” by Iran.

The statement concluded by asserting that with this “radar sweep,” the enemy should “be prepared for more decisive and stronger attacks by waves of drones and missiles.” The IRGC cited the Quranic verse, “Victory comes only from God, the Almighty, the Wise,” as a closing remark.
