Palestinian Mujahideen Movement Warns of Major Settler Incursion into Al-Aqsa Mosque
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Palestinian Mujahideen movement issued a strongly worded statement on Wednesday, expressing alarm over the increasing plans and actions by Zionists targeting the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the occupied city of Jerusalem. The movement condemned the silence and inaction of Arab and Islamic countries regarding these developments.
The statement declared, “We strongly condemn the provocative actions and expansionist plans of the Zionist regime, which are specifically targeting the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque and the holy city of Jerusalem. Particularly, the recent call by extremist settler groups for widespread incursions into the Al-Aqsa Mosque on Thursday represents a blatant insult to the sentiments of over two billion Muslims worldwide and a disregard for the status of the first Qibla and third holiest mosque.”
The statement further elaborated, “The call for the largest incursion into the Al-Aqsa Mosque, coinciding with what is termed the anniversary of the Temple’s destruction, signifies a dangerous escalation and a blatant assault on the sanctities of the Islamic Ummah. This action is part of the accelerated Zionist project to Judaize the Al-Aqsa Mosque and impose temporal and spatial divisions upon it, aiming to achieve full control over this mosque and the holy city of Jerusalem.”
The Mujahideen movement also emphasized, “The official support of the occupying regime for these incursions and violations reveals the aggressive nature of the Zionist project and demonstrates the regime’s insistence on imposing realities through force and organized terrorism. These actions are a clear violation of international law and all relevant covenants and resolutions, which could have dangerous consequences for regional security and stability.”
In another part of the statement, all Palestinians in Jerusalem, the occupied territories, and the West Bank were urged to make efforts to be present at the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, strengthen popular resistance gatherings, and stand firm against any attempts to desecrate this holy place.
The Mujahideen movement concluded by calling on the Arab and Islamic Ummah to fulfill their historical responsibility towards Jerusalem and the Al-Aqsa Mosque, urging them to take practical and serious steps to halt the continuous Zionist aggressions against Palestinian holy sites.
