Trump Explores Escalating Attacks on Iran, New York Times Reports

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, The New York Times, citing informed sources, has claimed that U.S. President Donald Trump held a meeting with his senior advisors and government members to evaluate whether attacks against Iran should be escalated.

Bloomberg News, also quoting its sources, alleged that Trump is experiencing increasing frustration with the war’s progress and desires to raise the costs of this war for Iran.

These claims emerge as Trump announced hours earlier that he had not yet made a decision regarding widespread U.S. attacks against Iran.

He asserted, “Negotiations are currently underway with Iran, and perhaps we will not reach a point where a widespread attack is necessary.”
