Iran Enhances Missile Accuracy and Destructive Power in Recent Attacks, Guardian Reports

The Guardian has revealed that Iran has significantly boosted its capability to strike U.S. bases and vital installations in the Middle East through a combination of technical advancements and adaptive military tactics, exposing potential weaknesses in American air defense systems.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, The English newspaper The Guardian has revealed that Iran has managed to enhance its capability to target American bases and critical facilities in the region during a period of escalating tensions in the Middle East. This achievement has been realized through a combination of technical advancements in its missile program, the utilization of satellite imagery, and the adoption of military tactics inspired by Russia’s experience in the Ukraine war.

Dan Sabbagh, the defense and security editor for The Guardian, emphasized that recent Iranian attacks demonstrate an increased level of accuracy and destructive power. This development has simultaneously exposed potential vulnerabilities in the American air defense systems deployed in the region.

The report cited Iran’s attack on “Muwaffaq Al-Salti Air Base” in Jordan, stating that the strike was successful despite the base being protected by the advanced American THAAD (Terminal High Altitude Area Defense) missile defense system. This attack resulted in the deaths of three American soldiers.

Satellite imagery published by Iranian media outlets shows that several facilities within the base sustained damage. This incident prompted the U.S. Department of Defense (Pentagon) to investigate the reasons behind the defense system’s inability to intercept the attack.
