Ansarullah Launches New Attacks in Yemen’s Al-Mokha; Jizan Refinery Remains Offline

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, news sources report new attacks by Yemen‘s Ansarullah movement on Al-Mokha in the Taiz province of Yemen, citing Al-Hadath news agency via Mehr news agency.

A correspondent for the Saudi outlet Al-Hadath pointed to Ansarullah drones flying over Al-Mokha, claiming that Saudi-backed Yemeni army air defenses were intercepting them.

Additionally, some Yemeni military sources reported that Ansarullah drones targeted the positions of the Saudi-aligned Yemeni army in the Baihan region of Shabwah.

These sources stated that the Ansarullah drone attack on Baihan in Yemen’s Shabwah province resulted in the deaths of two personnel affiliated with Riyadh and injured six others.

Jizan Refinery Remains Offline

Meanwhile, Saudi Aramco has postponed the initial resumption of operations at the Jizan oil refinery in southwestern Saudi Arabia, which has a refining capacity of 400,000 barrels per day, by approximately two weeks, pushing the date to August 30 of the current year.

This comes as news sources announced that the refinery has remained shut down since July 27, when Yemen’s Ansarullah forces launched an attack on it.
