Israel Launches New Airstrikes on Southern Lebanon

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Israeli forces have launched two airstrikes targeting open areas around the town of Al-Mansouri in southern Lebanon. Al Jazeera reported that the Israeli regime’s air raids struck the mentioned locations, with no immediate information provided regarding potential casualties.
These strikes follow the seventh round of direct negotiations between the Lebanese government and the Israeli regime, which concluded in Rome, Italy, on Thursday, August 6, 2026, without achieving any specific results. The negotiations were held amidst calls from the Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc in the Lebanese parliament for the government to halt discussions and concessions that the bloc claims have led to Lebanon relinquishing its rights and sovereignty.
