Israeli War Minister Vows No Withdrawal from Lebanon, Syria, or Gaza

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Israeli War Minister Yoav Gallant has instructed the army to implement all required measures for a sustained and permanent presence in the “security zones” of Lebanon, Syria, and Gaza, under the pretext of safeguarding occupied lands. This directive was reported by Israeli media outlets on Wednesday, citing Al Mayadeen.

The statements from the War Minister came during his visit to border villages in southern Lebanon. During this visit, he was accompanied by Lieutenant General Eyal Zamir, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Army, Major General Rafi Milo, Commander of the Northern Regional Command, Brigadier General Yiftah Nurkin, Commander of the 36th Division, and other military leaders.

Israeli media outlets noted that Gallant received a report on field activities and engaged in discussions with commanders regarding operational readiness to confront potential future scenarios involving Hezbollah. He reiterated the stance of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, stating, “We will not withdraw from the security zones in any way, neither in Lebanon, nor in Syria, nor in Gaza.”

These pronouncements from Gallant occur amidst ongoing Israeli incursions into Palestinian territories, Lebanon, and Syria.
