US Central Command Claims Interdiction of Commercial Shipping in Persian Gulf

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM), designated by Iran as a terrorist organization, has issued a statement claiming its forces have altered the course of 59 commercial ships, disabled three vessels, and boarded two others to verify adherence to regulations. These claims, published on CENTCOM’s official platforms, are presented as a measure to bolster military morale in the face of Iran’s defensive capabilities and its alleged reimposition of a naval blockade on Iranian ports.
The purported operations by CENTCOM were said to have taken place up to August 12. The statement from the U.S. military command aims to project an image of control and assertiveness in regional maritime activities. This announcement comes amidst ongoing geopolitical tensions and maritime security concerns in the region.
