X Social Media Platform Suspends Yemen Armed Forces Spokesperson’s Account

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the X social media platform, formerly known as Twitter, has suspended and blocked the account of Yahya Saree, the spokesperson for the Yemeni Armed Forces. This action by the platform owned by Elon Musk comes after the United States previously designated Yemen’s Ansar Allah movement as a terrorist group.

Furthermore, the accounts of several other senior members of the Ansar Allah movement, including Mohammed Al-Bukhaiti, have also been suspended on X, in a move described as contrary to the principle of freedom of expression.
