Israeli Artillery Shells Target Southern Lebanon, Violating Ceasefire Agreement

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Lebanese sources have reported the continuation of Israeli military attacks on different regions of southern Lebanon, with intense explosions occurring around several towns in the area. The Mehr news agency, quoting Al Mayadeen, published data indicating that areas in the town of Al Mansouri in the Tyre district of southern Lebanon were targeted by Israeli artillery. Additionally, a strong explosion took place in the “Al Mashaa” region between the towns of Al Mansouri and Majdal Zoun. Separately, an Israeli drone targeted a residential home in the town of Kfar with a sonic bomb. Previously, Lebanon and the Israeli regime had reached a “framework agreement” to end the conflicts, mediated by the United States. This agreement was reached after several rounds of negotiations between the involved parties and with Washington’s mediation, with the stated goal of establishing a ceasefire and reducing tensions on the borders of Lebanon and occupied Palestine. Despite this agreement, which has faced various criticisms, the Israeli regime’s violation of the ceasefire continues.
