UAE’s ADNOC Tanker Attacked in Strait of Hormuz
Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) confirmed that one of its vessels was targeted and attacked while transiting the Strait of Hormuz, an incident also reported by the UK’s Maritime Trade Operations.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) announced that one of its affiliated ships was attacked during passage through the Strait of Hormuz. This announcement follows a maritime security incident reported by the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) on Friday, which detailed receiving reports of a security incident involving a tanker near the coast of Oman. Further details regarding the extent of potential damage or the perpetrators of the attack have not yet been released.
