Palestinians Injured Amidst Escalating Settler Attacks in West Bank

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Palestinian Red Crescent announced on Friday that two Palestinians were wounded by settler gunfire following an attack on the Al-Adeisa area in the town of Sa’ir, north of Hebron. This assault coincided with a significant escalation in settler aggressions and Israeli military raids across various parts of the occupied West Bank.

In Nablus, settlers re-established a presence, pitching tents around the homes of Palestinians in the Ras Al-Ein area of Qusra town, south of Nablus. These residents have been under siege for five consecutive days. Simultaneously, the village of Al-Mughayer, northeast of Ramallah, witnessed confrontations as residents resisted another settler attack. Meanwhile, under the protection of the occupying army, settlers began establishing a new settlement outpost on the lands of Salwad and Deir Jarir in the eastern part of the province.

Furthermore, occupying forces fired live ammunition and tear gas during a raid on the town of Beit Fajjar, south of Bethlehem, deploying in several neighborhoods. In occupied Jerusalem, occupying forces arrested a young man after detaining and torturing him at the entrance to the settlement of Hizma.

Additionally, settlers, disguised in military attire, attacked employees of the northern electricity distribution company, detaining two workers and stealing their cash. The attacks by settlers in various West Bank areas are on the rise, bolstered by the support of occupying forces. These actions, coupled with ongoing raids on villages and towns, and operations involving arrests and home demolitions, are intensifying pressure on Palestinians and worsening the humanitarian situation.
