Jen Psaki Accuses Former Trump Spokesperson Caroline Witt of Being a Liar

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Jen Psaki, the former White House Press Secretary during Joe Biden’s administration, has sharply criticized Caroline Witt, her counterpart on Donald Trump’s team. Psaki alleged that Witt rarely faced challenging questions in the press briefing room and demonstrated no willingness to engage in good-faith dialogue.
Speaking on the program ‘MS NOW’, where she is employed after her tenure as Biden’s spokesperson in 2021 and 2022, Psaki stated that the relationship between the press and the White House is inherently designed to be challenging and confrontational. She emphasized that the journalists present in the room are tasked with seeking greater access and more information, a pursuit she claimed Caroline Witt did not embrace in good faith.
The former White House spokesperson added that, instead, Witt focused on transforming the press briefing room into her personal safe space, where she was seldom, if ever, compelled to answer difficult inquiries. Psaki noted that Witt held press conferences perhaps only once or twice a week.
Jen Psaki accused Witt of repeated falsehoods during her tenure, asserting that Witt served only one individual: Donald Trump. Psaki explained that Witt’s role was to convey the narrative favored by the “serial liar in the Oval Office,” Donald Trump, rather than serving the American people as a public servant. Psaki contended that Witt’s performance undermined the dignity of the position.
This exchange follows recent news that Donald Trump, the current President of the United States, announced on his social media platform ‘Truth Social’ that Caroline Witt, a close and trusted aide and White House spokesperson, would be stepping down at the end of the current month. Trump stated that Witt’s decision was driven by her desire to spend more time with her children and family.
