Hebrew Newspaper: Trump Faces Repeated Setbacks Against Iran, Seeks Middle East Gains

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Hebrew-language newspaper Haaretz has reported that successive defeats in the war with Iran have led U.S. President Donald Trump to seek political gains in the Middle East.

Based on the report, the United States has accepted the Israeli regime’s pretexts for justifying attacks against Lebanon and is expected to ask Tel Aviv to exercise restraint on other fronts.

It is worth noting that Israel has intensified its aggressions against the southern regions of Lebanon under the pretext of targeting Hezbollah’s infrastructure, and in one such atrocity alone, members of a seven-person family were martyred.

The Prime Minister of Lebanon stated yesterday that civilian and residential areas are being targeted by the Israeli regime.
