Ukraine Drone Strikes Kill Seven Across Russian Regions

Multiple Ukrainian drone attacks targeting regions including Rostov, Luhansk, and Moscow have resulted in at least seven fatalities and several injuries. Russian air defense systems reported intercepting a significant number of drones.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, at least seven people have been killed and several others injured in a series of drone attacks launched by Ukraine targeting various regions across Russia, including Rostov, Luhansk, and Moscow. The incidents occurred over the past 24 hours.

Yury Selyusar, the governor of the Rostov region, announced on Sunday that the death toll from a Ukrainian drone strike in the region the previous night had risen to five. Leonid Pasichnik, the head of the Luhansk region, also issued a separate statement, reporting that one person was killed and four were injured as a result of Ukrainian drone attacks on the Luhansk People’s Republic within the last 24 hours.

Andrey Vorobyov, the governor of the Moscow region, reported that one person was killed in a drone attack on the Ramensky district on the outskirts of Moscow. The Ukrainian drone reportedly struck the man’s private residence.

In response to the aerial assaults, the Russian Ministry of Defense stated that its air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 822 Ukrainian drones overnight. These interceptions took place over various Russian territories, including Rostov, Volgograd, Nizhny Novgorod, the Moscow region, Krasnodar, and the Republic of Crimea. Drones were also intercepted over the Sea of Azov and the Black Sea.
