Israeli Forces Intensify West Bank Raids, Continue Gaza Bombardment
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Israeli occupation forces launched renewed raids across the West Bank, targeting multiple cities and towns, while simultaneously escalating bombardment operations in the Gaza Strip.
Data released by the Palestinian Shehab News Agency, as cited by Mehr News Agency, indicates that Israeli occupation soldiers raided various areas in the West Bank, including Nablus, Jenin, Ramallah, and Tubas, on the night and throughout the day. In Nablus, the Israeli army entered the city, simultaneously raiding the village of Kafr Qallil, south of Nablus, and the Al-Dhahia Al-Ulya neighborhood in the east of the city.
During the raid on Kafr Qallil, soldiers detained Mohammed Al-Rayan, the brother of the martyr Nader Al-Rayan, after searching his home. In the Al-Dhahia Al-Ulya neighborhood, occupation forces arrested Mohammed Al-Jarmi after storming a residence.
In the Ramallah Governorate, Israeli soldiers again raided the village of Al-Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah, initiating extensive searches of Palestinian homes. In Jenin, the Israeli army subjected a young Palestinian man to beatings. Occupation forces also raided the town of Qabatiya, south of Jenin, arresting a young Palestinian man after searching a home.
Concurrently, Israeli soldiers raided the Al-Far’a refugee camp, south of Tubas, detaining Mohammed Al-Amir after raiding a home.
The Israeli army continued its attacks on the eastern areas of Gaza City, particularly the Al-Tuffah neighborhood, on the night and throughout the day. A residential building near Al-Sanafour intersection in Al-Tuffah neighborhood was hit by Israeli artillery, resulting in a fire.
Israeli tanks heavily shelled the eastern areas of Al-Tuffah neighborhood, and Israeli army helicopters fired towards the eastern parts of Gaza City. Israeli warplanes conducted two airstrikes on the eastern areas of Gaza City.
The Gaza Emergency and Ambulance Authority reported that several Palestinians were injured following an Israeli artillery attack on Al-Tuffah neighborhood, an area outside the control of the Israeli occupation army. Israeli artillery also targeted the southern Khan Younis area in the Gaza Strip.
