Hamas Blames ‘Occupation’ for Gaza Deal Stalls, Emphasizes National Unity

The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) has stated that the ‘occupation’ is responsible for the delays in implementing a Gaza agreement, emphasizing the need for internal Palestinian restructuring and a unified national strategy.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) announced that Khalil Al-Hayya, head of the movement’s political bureau, has briefed leaders and representatives of Palestinian factions on his meetings with mediators, ceasefire guarantors, and Egyptian leadership. Al-Hayya and the Palestinian representatives indicated that the occupying regime is responsible for the procrastination in implementing the agreement by denying the understandings reached.

Based on the report, Al-Hayya and the leaders and representatives of Palestinian groups emphasized the continuation of the process of organizing the internal Palestinian structure based on the principle of national participation and democracy. Hamas also declared that Al-Hayya and the Palestinian leaders and representatives underscored the necessity of formulating a comprehensive national strategy to confront current challenges.

It is noteworthy that Al-Hayya, accompanied by a high-ranking delegation of Hamas leaders, traveled to Cairo on Sunday for consultations with Egyptian officials.
