Trump Halts Tariffs on Canada for Three Days Amidst Trade Deal Framework

U.S. President Donald Trump has announced a three-day suspension of planned 50% tariffs on Canadian imports, citing progress towards a bilateral agreement between Washington and Ottawa.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, U.S. President Donald Trump announced on Thursday the temporary suspension of his decision to impose heavy 50% customs tariffs on goods imported from Canada.
Trump indicated that these tariffs were scheduled to take effect on Friday morning but stated that this temporary retreat was due to Washington and Ottawa reaching a framework for a bilateral agreement.
The U.S. President further clarified that the final implementation of this agreement is contingent upon the completion and finalization of official documents between the two countries.
