US Representative Slams Trump Administration’s Lack of Strategy in Iran Conflict

A US Congressional representative and military veteran has sharply criticized the Trump administration, stating that it lacked any strategy for ending the conflict with Iran from the outset and has endangered military personnel.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Jason Crow, a US Representative and Army veteran who serves on the House Armed Services Committee, spoke with Lawrence O’Donnell on “MS NOW.” The discussion centered on President Donald Trump’s absence of a strategy to conclude the conflict with Iran, as well as Crow’s strong criticism of the Trump administration’s “incompetence” in endangering military forces, including the 5,000 troops deployed aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier.

The Congressional representative and US Army veteran stated, “From Secretary of Defense Mark Esper to Secretary of the Treasury Steven Mnuchin, and Donald Trump himself, they have no idea how they are supposed to win this war, and they had no strategy from day one.”

The Democratic representative added, “If the American people don’t know when the war will end, it’s because Congress has not yet ended it.”
