Bus Bombing in Rural Damascus, Qatar Condemns Israeli Attack

A roadside bomb exploded on a bus carrying internal security forces in rural Damascus, injuring several individuals, while Qatar issued a strong condemnation of a recent Israeli attack targeting a civilian vehicle in the same region.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Syrian state television reported an explosion caused by an explosive device on a bus carrying internal security forces in the Damascus countryside, resulting in injuries to several people.

The report stated that a bomb detonated on a bus transporting what were described as “Jawlani forces” on the Ma’arrūnah to Saydnaya road in rural Damascus, injuring a number of individuals. Further details have not yet been released.

Meanwhile, Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has strongly condemned an Israeli strike on a civilian vehicle in the Damascus countryside.

Majed Al-Ansari, spokesperson for the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs, reacting to recent Israeli aggressions against Syria, stated, “We strongly condemn the Israeli attack on a civilian vehicle in Damascus province. The continuation of the Israeli regime’s attacks and its persistent violation of the sovereignty of regional countries is a dangerous approach and an unacceptable escalation of tension.”

The Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs also issued a statement emphasizing, “We strongly condemn the Israeli army’s drone attack on the “Beit Jinn Farm” road leading to the village of “Beit Jinn” in Rif Dimashq province. This aggression is a clear violation of Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity and a blatant breach of international law.”

It is noteworthy that following an Israeli airstrike on the Abu al-Dhuhur airport, which hosts Turkish forces, a vehicle was targeted by Israel today, resulting in one death and several injuries.
