US CENTCOM Affirms Continued Maritime Blockade by Iran, Claims Vessel Interdictions
The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) has stated that Iran’s maritime blockade will persist, while also reporting interdiction efforts against commercial vessels in the region.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, CENTCOM, the United States’ central military command, announced on its official platform that its forces have rerouted 83 commercial vessels as of August 30. The command further asserted that its personnel have fired upon three vessels and boarded two others.
