Netanyahu Vows Disarmament of Resistance, Escalates Rhetoric Against Iran

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has reiterated his commitment to disarming Hamas, stating his intention to extend this effort to Hezbollah, while also intensifying his rhetoric against Iran and addressing domestic political pressures.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, citing data published by the Mehr News Agency based on Arabic sources, Israel’s Channel 14 television reported that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in continuation of his hostile stances, claimed Tel Aviv is committed to disarming Hamas and will complete this process by disarming Hezbollah in Lebanon.

In part of this interview, Netanyahu, expressing renewed fear of Tehran’s strategic capabilities, alleged that Iran is seeking to resume its programs and that his cabinet will continue to confront Tehran.

He also, in an effort to escape public pressure in the occupied territories, stated that he is examining the possibility of publishing wartime meeting minutes to, in his words, reveal the facts.

On the domestic political front, the Israeli Prime Minister acknowledged the deepening rifts within the regime’s power structure. Directly attacking his political rivals, he warned that a cabinet led by Gadi Eisenkot, the former Chief of Staff of the regime’s army, coming to power would mark the beginning of the collapse and end of the Israeli regime’s existence.
