Shanghai Cooperation Organization Affirms Iran’s Territorial Integrity

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, member nations of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization have declared their profound concern regarding regional developments and incitement to war against Iran. In a released statement, the SCO member countries emphasized that other governments should not secure their own safety by compromising the security of other nations.
The Bishkek Declaration specifically underscored the SCO member states’ support for the territorial integrity and unity of Iran, advocating for the resolution of conflicts through diplomatic channels. Russian President Vladimir Putin, addressing the SCO Heads of State Council meeting in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, remarked that the SCO has traversed a significant path over its 25-year history, evolving into an influential entity within a multipolar world. He further stated that SCO member states must exert maximum effort to eradicate provocative actions aimed at instigating armed conflicts from the global agenda.
