Hamas Calls for International Investigation into Gaza Bombing Tactics Revealed in Documentary
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas announced that statements made in the documentary ‘NAZA’ concerning the mechanisms of targeting and bombing in the Gaza Strip and the killing of Palestinian civilians warrant serious and independent international investigation. The documentary reportedly features direct testimonies from 24 members and officers of the Israeli army’s intelligence corps, detailing their methods of targeting and bombing in Gaza and their dangerous admissions about the killing of Palestinian civilians.
Hamas emphasized the significance of these statements, noting that the speakers were individuals who operated within the Israeli military and security apparatus, participating in surveillance and targeting systems. These individuals reportedly revealed the use of the term ‘NAZA’ to refer to civilians expected to be killed in attacks and the methods employed in remote bombing operations. This, Hamas stated, underscores the urgent need for an independent international probe and the inclusion of these testimonies in ongoing investigations into war crimes and ethnic cleansing against civilians in Gaza.
The movement highlighted the widespread international reception of the documentary at the Venice festival, including a 25-minute standing ovation, as evidence of the profound impact of these revelations. Hamas views this as a testament to the crucial role of journalism and documentary filmmaking in exposing truths and countering Israeli attempts to deny and distort realities.
