Yemen Denies Saudi Claims of Threat to Mecca, Reports Heavy Losses for Saudi Mercenaries

A Yemeni military source has strongly condemned Saudi Arabia’s accusations of a threat from Yemen to Mecca and its holy sites, while also reporting significant casualties among Saudi mercenaries on the Al Jawf front.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, a Yemeni military source has vehemently denounced the alleged machinations and deceptive maneuvers by the Saudi enemy, who have falsely claimed the existence of a threat from Yemen towards the holy city of Mecca.

The source unequivocally denied any threat emanating from Yemen against Mecca or any other sacred site. This dissemination of false news by the Saudi adversary, the source stated, is intended to undermine and mobilize the Islamic world, a tactic previously employed by Saudi Arabia.

The denial comes hours after Saudi Arabia’s Civil Defense claimed to have neutralized a threat in Mecca, Taif, and Jeddah.

In a separate development, a military source informed Al Masirah that Saudi mercenaries suffered approximately 275 casualties, including dead, wounded, and captured, during engagements on the Al Jawf front over the past four days. Additionally, 85 vehicles and armored personnel carriers belonging to the Saudi mercenaries were destroyed or rendered inoperable during the clashes. The source also reported the downing of seven enemy drones by Yemeni forces in the Al Jawf front engagements.
