Shipping traffic through the strategically vital Strait of Hormuz has dramatically decreased, with only three vessels recorded passing through the waterway on a recent day, a significant drop from previous averages.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, data compiled from ship-tracking services indicates a sharp decline in maritime traffic through the Strait of Hormuz, with only three ships transiting the waterway on the previous day. This figure represents a substantial decrease compared to the 12 vessels recorded the day before. The recent traffic volume also falls significantly below the 10-day average, which stands at approximately 17 vessels. Prior to actions by the United States and Israel that disrupted security in the Strait of Hormuz, transit through the crucial passage had proceeded without incident.
