South African Defense Minister Meets Iraqi National Security Advisor to Boost Cooperation

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Iraqi National Security Advisor Qassim Al-Araji traveled to South Africa to attend a defense industry exhibition, an event drawing numerous official delegations and global specialized companies. This visit was in response to an official invitation to participate in the exhibition, which is being held in the country.

At the outset of his visit, Al-Araji held a meeting with South African Defense Minister Angie Motshekga. During their discussions, they explored several issues of mutual importance and avenues for enhancing friendship and cooperation between the two nations, particularly in the security and defense sectors, aiming to serve the common interests of both countries and friendly peoples.

On the sidelines of the exhibition’s activities, Al-Araji also engaged in conversations with several officials and representatives of participating delegations. These discussions focused on prospects for collaboration, the exchange of experiences, and strategies for expanding bilateral relations in areas of shared interest.

This trip is part of broader efforts to reinforce Iraq’s relationships with friendly nations and to develop cooperation and coordination in security and defense, with the goal of fostering partnerships and the exchange of expertise.
