Russia’s Envoy to Vienna Declares U.S. Sanctions Policy Ineffective

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Mikhail Ulyanov, Russia’s Permanent Representative to International Organizations in Vienna, stated on Saturday via a social media post on X that the sanctions policy implemented by the United States is not effective. He described this as a fact that the passage of time has definitively proven.
Ulyanov made these remarks in response to new sanctions legislation directed against Russia and Iran. This statement comes shortly after the U.S. House of Representatives approved a sweeping bill imposing sanctions and trade tariffs on Russia. The bill, aimed at intensifying economic pressure on Moscow, passed with a vote of 262 in favor and 159 against, and was subsequently signed into law by President Donald Trump.
