Saudi Arabia Launches Heavy Airstrikes on Yemen, Targeting Communication Infrastructure

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Saudi Arabian fighter jets have carried out heavy bombardments on different areas of Yemen, as reported by news sources citing Al-Masirah. The airstrikes have extensively targeted communication towers, raising concerns about further limitations on services for the Yemeni population.

Al-Masirah correspondent reported widespread Saudi aerial attacks on various locations within Al Jawf province. The Yemeni media outlet stated that Saudi fighter jets bombed telecommunication towers in the Salba and Rahoub areas of Al Anan district, another communication tower in Al Marashi, and an additional tower in Al Zahir. These targeted towers, including those in Habash, Rahoub, Al Marashi, and Al Zahir, are considered vital for telecommunications, and the attacks are viewed as an attempt by Saudi Arabia to impose greater restrictions on Yemeni citizens and cut off essential services.

SABA news agency in Sana’a also reported that Saudi aerial attacks targeted telecommunication towers in the Bart Al Anan district and two other towers in the Al Marashi and Al Zahir districts of Al Jawf. The correspondent for Al-Ahed network reported that Saudi aerial attacks continue to target Yemeni infrastructure and civilians, with Saudi fighter jets striking communication networks and towers in several Yemeni cities.
