Yemeni Forces Threaten US Interests Amidst Saudi Conflict

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Yemeni military advisors and fighters declared on Wednesday that they would attack American interests in West Asia if the United States intervenes to support Saudi Arabia in the Yemen conflict or attempts to reopen the Bab al-Mandab Strait.

A Yemeni military advisor, Abed Mohammad Al-Thawr, stated that any direct military intervention by the U.S. naval fleet or any attempt to seize control of the Bab al-Mandab would be considered a red line, and that his group would fight against such actions.

“If America dares to conduct military intervention with its fleets or attempts to take control of Bab al-Mandab, this action will be a red line for them and anyone else,” Al-Thawr said.

The Yemeni military advisor further emphasized their resolve, stating, “We will fight regarding this matter.”
