Iran and Oman Discuss Strait of Hormuz Security and Regional Issues

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Oman announced that its Foreign Minister, Badr Albusaidi, held a meeting with Iran‘s Foreign Minister, Seyed Abbas Araghchi, in New York. The discussions focused on ongoing efforts concerning several regional issues and current developments.

Both sides emphasized the importance of continuing diplomatic communication to foster convergence and build trust.

The Omani Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the foreign ministers of Oman and Iran exchanged views on current consultations aimed at ensuring navigation safety in the Strait of Hormuz and guaranteeing the freedom of movement for vessels. This, they noted, is crucial for supporting the flow of global trade and energy transportation.
