EU’s Attempt to Isolate Russia Fails, Says Russian Envoy to Czech Republic

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Anna Ponomareva, Russia‘s Ambassador to the Czech Republic, has asserted that European nations have become entirely isolated due to their strenuous efforts to isolate Russia. She commented that Europeans are, in effect, reading, seeing, and hearing nothing but anti-Russian mainstream media. Ponomareva highlighted that under such an information blockade, it becomes easy to instill fear in the populace. Earlier, on Friday, Ponomareva attributed the deterioration of relations between Russia and the Czech Republic to Prague’s choices, noting an increase in Russophobia in the country after 2022. Previously, Maria Zakharova, spokesperson for Russia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, had stated that Western countries have acknowledged the failure of the idea to isolate Moscow and are no longer discussing it. Additionally, Foreign Policy magazine had written that isolating Moscow has proven impossible, and Russia continues its active engagement on the international stage.
