Iranian Flights Resume to Najaf Airport After Week-Long Halt

Iranian flights have recommenced at Najaf International Airport following a hiatus of over a week, a disruption attributed to actions by the U.S. Treasury Department. The first Iranian aircraft landed at the Iraqi airport today, with more expected in the coming hours.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Iranian flights have resumed operations at Najaf International Airport after a pause exceeding one week. The halt was reportedly initiated due to measures taken by the U.S. Treasury Department. Hussein Al-Muhanna, Deputy Director of Najaf International Airport, confirmed that the first Iranian aircraft successfully landed at the airport today. He further indicated that the airport would continue to receive air traffic from Iran in the hours that followed.
