Israeli Court Sentences Former Court Security Officer to Three Years for Alleged Iran Cooperation

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, a court in the occupied territories has sentenced a former court security officer to three years in prison for allegedly contacting an Iranian agent and providing information about access to the Dimona nuclear facility, as reported by Mehr News Agency citing Al-Manar.
The Beersheba District Court handed down the prison sentence to the former court security officer for “contact with a foreign national.” Israeli authorities claim that the individual, identified as Doron Bokobza, informed an Iranian agent that he had access to the Dimona nuclear facilities.
According to Israeli allegations, the 30-year-old began his cooperation with Iran two years ago, offering services in exchange for payment. Re-sharing a post from Israel’s Minister of Internal Security, Itamar Ben-Gvir, has been cited as one of these actions.
Israeli media reports indicate that the individual also published content supporting the release of two Israeli captives, claiming to be acquainted with them. These actions appear to have been taken to gain the trust of Israeli officials.
Senior officials in the Israeli regime have repeatedly expressed concern over the growing number of individuals cooperating with Iran. In recent years, there has been a significant increase in the number of Israelis arrested on charges of espionage and cooperation with Iran, with some of those arrested being military personnel and security forces.
