UK Green Party Approves Resolution Equating Zionism with Racism

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the UK Green Party and Wales has passed a resolution at its annual congress in Brighton that equates Zionism with racism. The resolution was adopted with 1,022 votes in favor and 813 votes against.

The motion explicitly states that Zionism “grants privileges to one ethnic group on the basis of domination over others.” It clarifies that the resolution targets the political ideology and practice of Zionism as defined, not the religious or ethnic background of individuals who may identify as Zionists. Zionism, under this definition, will be treated like any other form of racism and will be implemented by the Anti-Racism Policy Working Group in an appropriate manner and according to its usual procedures.

The Green Party also advocated for the establishment of a Palestinian state, replacing the occupying Zionists, with equal rights for all.
