Yemeni Forces Repel Saudi-Backed Advances in Al-Mukha and Dhubab

Yemeni military experts report that forces loyal to Riyadh have been pushed back from key areas in Al-Mukha and Dhubab, following an attempted advance. This comes as Yemeni troops continue to liberate territory within Taiz province.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, military affairs expert Abdulghani Al-Zubaidi stated in an interview with Al Mayadeen that elements affiliated with the Saudi enemy, who attempted to advance in Al-Mukha, were repelled. Al-Zubaidi added that Saudi mercenaries were expelled from Dhubab after a brief advance that was quickly contained.

Hours earlier, a high-ranking Yemeni military source confirmed to Al Mayadeen that the country’s armed forces had successfully liberated over 2,000 square kilometers of Taiz province and expelled Saudi-aligned elements from the Al-Ma’afer and Al-Mawaset regions. The source further indicated that Yemeni forces entered the home of Rashad Al-Alimi, the Saudi-backed Chairman of the Presidential Council, on the previous day.

The Yemeni source emphasized that the decision for a general amnesty in Taiz remains in effect, with all liberated areas experiencing stability and security. He asserted that Saudi mercenaries would be targeted wherever they are found, and Saudi Arabia would bear the consequences of these aggressions.
