According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Ziad Al-Nakhalah, the Secretary-General of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement, marked the 39th anniversary of his movement’s founding and the third anniversary of the “Al-Aqsa Flood” by celebrating the people’s resilience and honoring their continuous sacrifices. He asserted that the “Al-Aqsa Flood” was a natural response to Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people.
Al-Nakhalah highlighted that Palestinians are continuing their resistance despite arduous conditions, enduring three years of relentless Israeli attacks and entering the fourth year with over 80,000 martyrs. He accused the enemy of disregarding all initiatives and persisting in its aggression against the Palestinian populace. He also expressed deep appreciation for the sacrifices and support of the Lebanese people and their resistance in solidarity with Gaza.
He extended greetings to the Yemeni people for their participation in the struggle and their steadfastness, honoring their martyrs. Al-Nakhalah emphasized the unwavering resolve of the Palestinian people in confronting the Zionist-American aggression, affirming their adherence to their historical rights in Palestine. He added that the martyrdom of Seyyed Ali Khamenei will remain a significant symbol in the confrontation against Zionist arrogance.
Al-Nakhalah described the ongoing conflict as a battle of a unified Ummah against a singular enemy, the Zionist project, and its allies. He noted that thousands of Palestinians have confronted the enemy with firm determination, driven by a cultural impetus to fight the occupying force of their land. He reiterated that the Palestinian people have not and will not cease their resistance, remaining determined and steadfast on their land.
Despite plans for displacement, the Palestinian people are refusing to cede their land to their killers and criminals, demonstrating the will of their children and fighters. The Islamic Jihad movement underscores the importance of unifying the resistance forces and the Palestinian nation, wherever they may be. Al-Nakhalah renewed the movement’s pledge to continue the path of jihad and resistance with all available means as long as the Zionist project persists on their land. He affirmed that the unity of resistance factions in Palestine and the region will endure, regardless of the challenges.
