Iranian Interior Minister Consults with Emir of Qatar in Doha on Regional Security

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, on Tuesday, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir of Qatar, hosted Iranian Interior Minister Esfandiar Momeni in Doha. The meeting, attended by Qatari Interior Minister Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad Al Thani, focused on regional developments and concerted efforts aimed at reducing tensions to enhance both regional and international security and stability.

Previously, Ibrahim bin Sultan Al-Hashmi, Director of the Media and Communications Unit at the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated that contacts and visits are ongoing with the objective of advancing the dialogue process between Washington and Tehran. Al-Hashmi noted Qatar’s welcome of the Iranian side’s visit to be briefed on the measures taken regarding the pilots’ case, adding that the latest developments pertinent to this issue have been communicated to the Iranian delegation.
