Putin Advocates for Multipolar World and Stable Financial Structures

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on Friday during a summit of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) that Uzbekistan will assume the presidency of the organization starting next year.
Putin highlighted the importance of accelerating progress within the CIS, stating, “Can we move faster? Perhaps we can. What must we do to achieve this? We must remove obstacles.”
The Russian President also discussed the significance of CIS countries’ efforts in preserving their shared history and preventing its distortion. He underscored the benefits of a stable financial structure, insulated from external influences, in effectively managing contemporary challenges. Putin noted that all bilateral settlements are conducted in national currencies, with these currencies now accounting for over 90 percent of trade exchanges among the member states. This development, he explained, allows for the deepening of economic cooperation irrespective of external influences or market conditions.
He concluded by stating that all CIS member states support the creation of a just and multipolar world.
