Protests Erupt Across US Demanding End to Gaza War and Aid Cuts to Israel

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, protests against the Israeli actions in Gaza and in opposition to Washington’s support for Tel Aviv have taken place across several cities in the United States. These demonstrations occurred on the third anniversary of the commencement of the Israeli regime’s actions in the Gaza Strip, as reported by the Shahab News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency.
The demonstrations were part of a ‘National Day of Action.’ Participants carried Palestinian flags and placards, calling for an end to the conflict, the cessation of occupation, and the termination of U.S. military assistance to the Israeli regime.
Additionally, hundreds of pro-Palestinian supporters converged on Capitol Hill in Washington D.C., ahead of the third anniversary of the Israeli invasion of Gaza. They condemned the U.S. military and diplomatic backing of Tel Aviv, demanding a halt to arms shipments, sanctions against the Israeli regime, and accountability for U.S. officials regarding the consequences of this support.
Concurrent rallies and marches were also held in Chicago, Illinois; Los Angeles, California; Dearborn, Michigan; and Providence, Rhode Island. Demonstrators expressed solidarity with the rights of Palestinians and called for accountability for those responsible for alleged crimes against the Palestinian people.
These mobilizations are part of a broader wave of international protests against the conflict in Gaza and the continued supply of weapons to the Israeli regime.
The Global Coalition for Palestine Support announced in early October 2026 that it would organize coordinated events across six continents, involving over 200 organizations in more than 60 countries. The stated objectives of these actions are to exert pressure for the enforcement of international law, to hold the Israeli regime accountable, and to cease the flow of weapons to the country.
Mustafa Barghouti, Secretary-General of the Palestinian National Initiative movement, had previously stated that the coalition was preparing dozens of demonstrations worldwide, including over 40 marches and protests in the United States, alongside various activities in European, Asian, and African nations.
